Filip Pancevski was born on first of August 1988 in Skopje, Macedonia. I started playing chess when I was 5 years old. My first success was 6th place in European youth chess championship for boys U12. In January 2004 I become a champion of Skopje by beating the first Grandmaster in my career. Later that year on the World youth chess championship U16 I took 16th place and my first International master norm. I won my second and third International master norm in 2008 while in the same time passing 2400 and becoming an International master. In 2013 I got my first Grandmaster norm in the strong tournament Durres Open, by winning the second place.

I became champion of Macedonia three times 2010, 2012 and 2014 and I have won the Macedonian Open three times from 2010-2012.
I have been a member of the Macedonian national team since 2009. So far I have played 3 European Team championships and three Olympiads. Last year on the European team chess championship I played on the first board.

I started working as a chess coach in 2009. I worked as an assistant coach in the local chess club where I helped my coach with the beginners.

I teach chess online for two years now and have many students from all around the world.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Economy and I am fluent in English and Spanish.
